Hayley completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Southampton and was awarded a first class BSc degree in Psychology in 2007. She worked as a research assistant at The Anna Freud Centre (2008-2009) and King’s College London (2009-2011) before joining The Health Behaviour Research Centre (HBRC) at University College London in 2011. At the HBRC she worked as a coordinator of a qualitative study which explored parental perceptions of receiving overweight feedback for their child as part of the National Child Measurement Programme. In 2012 she began a 4-year industrial-case PhD at UCL using the Gemini twin study to explore the role of appetite in regulating the quality and quantity of children’s dietary intake.
