Sam Crosby was appointed Executive Director of the McKell Institute in March 2014 and brings to the role years of experience working in government, business and civil society. Previously, Sam served as Corporate and Government Affairs Manager for Johnson and Johnson, Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff to a number of NSW Cabinet Ministers, and advisor to former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. His experience spans infrastructure, transport, ports, mining, forestry, treasury and healthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and Social Sciences with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney and an MBA from the UNSW’s Australian Graduate School of Management. While completing his undergraduate degree, he served as President of the University of Sydney Union.
